On March 28th, an appointment ceremony was convened at Shandong University, Weihai (SDUW) to appoint Prof. Gang Li from University of Surrey as SDUW visiting professor. Prof. Xia Lidong, Vice President of SDUW, presented the Certificate of Appointment to Prof. Li. Relevant staff from International Office and Business School attended the ceremony.

      During the ceremony, Prof. Xia delivered a speech in which he emphasized the importance of internationalization of SDUW, as well as expressing his hope that Prof. Li would introduce high-quality educational resources and put forward valuable suggestions for the discipline construction and international exchanges of SDUW. Prof. Li said that he felt rather honored to be appointed as visiting professor of SDUW, and would contribute to the further development of the Tourism Management discipline.

      After the ceremony, Prof. Li delivered an academic report titled Lifestyle-oriented motivation, social responsibility and small tourism enterprises to the students of Business School.
