UNSW Canberra Delegation Visits SDUWa

      On May 20th, a delegation of Canberra Campus of the University of New South Wales (UNSW Canberra) led by Prof. Scott Sharp, Deputy Dean of School of Science, visited Shandong University, Weihai (SDUW). Prof. Huang Kainan, Vice President of SDUW, met with the guests.

      Prof. Huang pointed out that SDUW has been attaching great importance to enhancing its internationalization, and has established close relationship with partner universities in Australia. In recent years, SDUW endeavors to strengthen its research innovation with the aim of being more competitive. Prof. Huang expressed his wish that the two parties could deepen current cooperation and introduce high-quality resources to conduct more research programs in various areas. Prof. Sharp said that UNSW Canberra values the cultivation of excellent postgraduates, and he hoped that the two universities would make active efforts in pushing forward faculty exchange and research collaboration.

      During the stay, a lecture titled "Publishing in English Speaking Journals: what the reviewers look for. Recent Debates in the Social Sciences" was given by the delegation. A UNSW Canberra scholarship program for doctorate students was also introduced.
